On July 2, 2007, the Federal Government seized everything from Jeffrey. He faced a life Sentence in Federal Prison without possibility of parole, accused of securities fraud in the millions. Through his experiences while incarcerated, and a daily life of prayer and ministry to other inmates, Jeffrey came to understand that sometimes the innocent suffer, and human beings shall be judged by the way we play the hand that we are dealt. ​

While imprisoned for the past 5 years, Jeffrey applied to a Baptist University and earned a Masters Degree and a PhD in Psychology and Christian Counseling. A dissertation written for one of his courses turned into the first book in a series, Suicidal Kings: The Road to Redemption. ​

For the prisoner, it provides hope. For those searching for God, it provides understanding. And for the Christian Counselor, it becomes a prescription against the erroneous thinking of the carnal mind. ​
